남원 초등학교 마을 잇는 어린이 큐레이터의 눈으로 바라본 남원을 담아냈습니다. 이 책은 2024 제주특별자치도 교육청 마을 교육 공동체 운영사업으로 제작되었습니다. 서귀포 오아시스의 '그림책으로 놀아주는 엄마들' 활동가 송민영 엄마 선생님,김민지 엄마 선생님이 아이들의 이끔이로 활동할 수 있도록 남원 초등학교와 학부모님들이 협력해주셨습니다. 아이들이 마을에 귀 기울이면 마을이 아이들을 바라보고 온 마을이 아이를 돌보는 남원이 탄생하길 바라는 마음으로 제작된 책입니다.

남원초등학교의 마을 잇는 어린이 큐레이터인 김하람, 고서현, 양정연, 김봄, 김혜린, 현지윤. 어린이 한명 한명의 시선과 감성으로 마을을 소개했습니다. 이 작품의 출간을 시작으로 어린이 작가이자 큐레이터로서 마을의 역사와 생태가 담긴 남원의 문화를 표현할 수 있었습니다. 우리 마을 남원을 이해하고 사랑하게 되길 바랍니다.
