일본에서 가장 유명한 방송계 전문학교인 동방학원 전문학교에서 예능버라이어티과(芸能バラエティ科)를 졸업한 저자는 유학 당시 교내에서 매주 열리는 개그 라이브 무대에서 사회자의 어시스턴트 역할로 무대에 서며 다방면으로 일본어를 익혔다. 또한 일본의 대표 예능 프로인 ‘さんまのからくりTV(산마의 가라쿠리티비)에 오디션을 통해 방송 출연한 경험이 있다. 다양한 경험을 하며 몸에 체득한 일본어를 바탕으로, 일본 사람들이 일상생활에서 꼭 쓰는 패턴을 고르고 골라 《일드 일본어회화 핵심패턴 233》에 정리했다.
