3.1 운동 100주년 기념 이상화 일제강점기에 민족적 비애를 시로 잘 표현한 민족주의시인. 1919년 3.1운동때에는 대구 학생봉기를 주도하였으나 사전에 발각되어 실패하였다. 그의 작품들은 일제에의 저항, 계몽주의, 혁명사상을 잘 드러내고 있다. 그는 일제에 대한 울분을 내세워 저항하기에는 많은 제약이 따랐기 때문에 국토예찬의 시를 주로 집필하였다. 그는 우리나라의 대표적인 민족시인이라고 할 수 있다. 그의 대표 시로는 빼앗긴 들에도 봄은 오는가, 말세의 희탄(?歎), 이중의 사망, 역천, 기러지 등이 있다.
About the author
이상화(1901∼1943)호는 무량(無量)·상화(尙火, 想華)·백아(白啞).1919년 3.1운동때에는 친구 백기만과 대구 학생봉기를 주도하였으나 사전에 발각되어 실패하였다.1927년 의열단 이종암 사건에 연류되어 구금되기도 하였다.그는 나이 40세에 학교를 그만두고 독서와 연구에 몰두하였으나 43세에 위암으로 사망하였다.그의 대표 시로는 빼앗긴 들에도 봄은 오는가, 말세의 희탄(?歎), 이중의 사망, 역천, 기러지 등이 있다.
