본명 임경석. 80년대 중반 무협소설계에 입문하여 창작활동을 시작. 90년대 초 만화스토리 작가로 변신하여 활발한 작품활동을 전개하여 왔다. 대표작으로는『무겁』，『혈견류』，『이탈자』，『모르모트』，『폭풍의 영웅』， 『열도의 두 거인』등 무협과 만화 두 방면에 고루 히트작을 양산해 왔다. 지금은 신세대 감각이 물씬 풍겨나는 작품을 집필 중에 있다.
