About the author
1969년 서울 봉천동에서 태어났다. 1994년 서울예대 문예창작학과에 입학하여 본격적으로 문학 수업을 받는다. 1996년 동아일보 신춘문예에 「불란서 안경원」이 당선되어 등단했다. 이해에 첫 장편 이 문학동네 제1회 작가상에 당선되면서 문단의 주목을 받는다.
대표작으로 등이 있다.
