우여곡절 끝에 샘물을 찾게 되는 준우는 삶에 대한 여러 깨달음을 함께 얻게 된다. 판타지와 현실의 절묘한 조화 속에서 작가는 인간의 욕심, 이별과 만남, 삶과 죽음 등 깊이 있는 주제를 어린이의 시각으로 녹여내었다.
