지헌의 미간이 슬그머니 모아졌다.
“몸으로 때운다?”
“가진 게 그것밖에 없으니까요.”
정말, 가진 게 그것밖에 없어 그녀의 목소리에는 서글픔이 묻어났다. 노골적인 지헌의 시선과 도전적이되 겁을 집어 먹은 새해의 눈동자가 맞부딪쳤다.
한 번도 경험해 본 적 없는 공포감이 그녀의 속에서 스멀스멀 치고 올라왔다.
새해의 마음속은 폭풍이 몰아치고 있었다.
