About the author
방정환(方定煥)[1899∼1931]의 호는 소파(小波). 일제 강점기 한국 아동 문학 초창기에 활동한 작가로서 최초의 아동 문화 운동 단체인 ‘색동회’ 등을 조직하여 소년 운동을 주창하고, 어린이날을 제정하였으며, 잡지 『어린이』를 창간하였다.
