As a Christian who found faith in Nigeria in the 80s, I was intrigued by stories about 'God Generals", those men and women that led 20th century revivals across the world (most of them in the West). Israel Oluwole Olofinjana is Nigerian coming from a Pentecostal background. He holds a Certificate in Ministry from Grace Bible Institute, Ibadan, Nigeria, has a BA (Hons) in Religious Studies from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and MTh from South London Christian College. He is the author of “Reverse in Ministry and Missions: Africans in the Dark Continent of Europe”. Israel is a Baptist minister and co-pastors Crofton Park Baptist Church, a multicultural Church in South-East London. He is happily married to Lucy Olofinjana.
