The steady paced plot keeps readers intrigued with mystery, suspense and romance. The author uses well written words to weave teasing clues into the story that hints at so many secrets and promising drama that arouses the curiosity and ensures that the reader can’t put the book down. The strong compelling characters are easily related to and add their own attention grabbing drama to the story which adds depth and spice to the story. The attraction between Gabriel and Rowan burns up the pages with red hot passion and the sex scenes scorch the reader with fiery heat, but the relationship is a work in progress with all the normal drama and dating issues with the addition of Gabriel’s secrets making the romance more intriguing. The reader can’t help but get drawn into the story with all the teasing hints in the story. Gabriel is such an overwhelmingly intriguing person in the story, he’s sexy and secretive what woman could resist such a man and Rowan is shy, innocent young woman with a smart mouth is drawn to Gabriel in a way that she can’t explain and the reader can’t help but empathize with her.

EXCELLENT read. could not put this book down. Love the characters great story line. Both books an absolute must read. In fact I am getting ready to read it again!!!!!

Great book! Funny, action, adult romance...if you like JR Ward then read this!

Carla Susan Smith owes her love of literature to her mother, who, after catching her pre-teen daughter reading by flashlight beneath the bed covers, calmly replaced the romance book she had “borrowed” with one that was much more age-appropriate!
