Ratings and reviews

I love this type of story. It can be hard to read sometimes because of the old fashioned language, but this book held its own. Interesting characters. The ending makes you want to immediately delve right in to the next story.

It's a good read, bit on the short side. But doubt I woulda paid for it. Perhaps as an omnibus.

....was a fun and breezy read, with bright and humorous characters amidst a current yet historically magical Briton.

English both by name and nationality, Charlotte hasn’t permitted emigration to the Netherlands to damage her essential Britishness.
