About this ebook

Ellis is a woman on a mission. Armed with a dream and a plan to get out of her small Appalachian town, she works as many jobs as she can fit into the day to save the much-needed money. She has no time for small-town ladies’ man Bryce LaSalle—and her indifference is exactly what catches his eye.

Drawn to her single-minded determination to distrust everyone and a stubborn independence streak, Bryce is driven to distraction by Ellis. His devotion to her is steadfast, even as she pushes him away. Slowly, Ellis learns to trust Bryce, and lets the fun-loving rogue see beyond her defenses, even revealing to him her most painful secrets.

From New York Times bestselling author Mary Kay McComas, SWEET DREAMIN’ BABY is the sequel to LOVIN’ A GOOD OL’ BOY. Both were originally published as part of Bantam Dell’s Loveswept line.

About the author

Mary Kay McComas was raised in the Great Pacific Northwest city of Spokane, Washington. Third of six children. Mary Kay went to college, and for ten years after that she worked as an intensive care nurse in a hospital. Then she met her future husband, a lawyer, and her Prince Charming. The couple moved to the Shenandoah Valley in Northern Virginia, and raised four wonderful children. After Mary Kay's children came along she didn't think things could get any better. But guess what, they did! On a dare from her husband to "write a better novel than that," Mary Kay took a stab at writing something longer than a letter and more fun than a college term paper. It was not Mary Kay's intention to start a third career as a writer. However, as luck would have it, she was fortunate enough to find an encouraging agent and helpful, supportive editors. She hopes her stories will bring a little happiness into your life!
