In her first book, Vanaja takes readers on a journey to a world of Hindu Mythology. She describes the greatness of Amarakosam, which was written by Amarasinha, a court-poet in the period of King Chandragupa II. It involves all the characters of Hindu Mythological epics.

I read the book “Amarakosam for Beginners Volume 1” authored by T.Vanaja. She has explained each name with detail explanations. I found it very easy to understand. The work is very much appreciable. Hope She continues to work with the same enthusiasm for the remaining volumes also.

Vanaja Teegavarapu completed her study of Amarakosam, Ashtadasa Puranas, Sri Devibhagavatam, Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavata Purana and many more. Her articles were published in Bhavans Journal; some Telugu articles were published in Telugu magazines. All her articles are about the puranas, Carnatic classical music and temples in and around India.
