Gwen is not proud of her past, but given the chance to marry one of the Campbell brothers, she takes the opportunity with both hands. Nevertheless, she has vowed that there is no way that she ever be used by any man again. Thus, Clay finds that he has married an unwilling bride and that he is expected to court her before she will give of herself. I received a copy of this well-written novel as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Book stopped at page 36 and would go no further. I prepaid for the book and then bought it twice after that at the same amount. Still only event to page 36 and stopped! How does this get fixed?

Just a really lovely story. Good triumphs over evil and Gwen gets the life she's always wanted, while being a hero at the same time. Love this story.

About the author

Cynthia Woolf is the USA Today Bestselling and award-winning author of seventy-two novels consisting of sixty-four historical western romances, two contemporary romances, one contemporary romance novella and six sci-fi, space opera romances, which she calls westerns in space. Along with these books she has also published four boxed sets of her books and two short stories.

 

Cynthia loves writing and reading romance. Her first western romance Tame A Wild Heart, was inspired by the story her mother told her of meeting Cynthia's father on a ranch in Creede, Colorado. Although Tame A Wild Heart takes place in Creede that is the only similarity between the stories. Her father was a cowboy, not a bounty hunter, and her mother was a nursemaid (called a nanny now), not the ranch owner. 

Cynthia credits her wonderfully supportive husband Jim and her great critique partners for saving her sanity and allowing her to explore her creativity.
