Derrick Hannon
This novel revealed a story that many of us, particularly in the Western World, have heard so often it has become stale and bastardized, in a refreshing, beautiful way. It is as if the reader is hearing about Jesus for the very first time. It reminds me of my first time reading The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe. Not until the end did I realize who Aslan was and by then C.S. Lewis had already created his intended effect.

I loved the direction of this book. Plenty of action and even suspense, but with an amazing underlying story I've always enjoyed from Ted Dekker! Can't wait to read the next one!
