About this eBook

Magical mysteries, enchanting adventures, and romances blossoming under a full moon...

Meet Pet, determined alpha's daughter, poised to lead her pack through the shadows of long-concealed secrets. And Mai, a skilled fencing instructor whose hidden fox shifter identity adds a layer of complexity to her everyday life.

Navigate through fantastical dangers alongside a flustered werewolf father-to-be. Discover the holiday wishes of wolf pups. And walk in the shoes of an alpha whose human upbringing didn't prepare him for the ways of the pack.

This anthology includes eleven urban fantasy shorts: Fox Hunt (also found in High Moon); Library Werewolf; Kira’s Tale; Outfoxed (also found in the Moon Marked Trilogy); Slaying Solstice; Broke Truck, Lost Pup; The Alpha Puzzle; A Dog’s Dinner; Undelivered Correspondence; Family FTW; and Bonus Epilogue (From Jack’s Point of View).

Note: While a couple of these stories can be read as standalones, most are intended to be enjoyed after the Moon Marked Trilogy, the No Fox Given Trilogy, and the Time Bites Trilogy.

A Dog's Dinner & Other Stories by Aimee Easterling is a great collection of fun short stories that take place around other novels written by the author. It is helpful, and perhaps more meaningful, to have read the other novels to understand the full context, but it is not necessary as each story is enjoyable in it's own right. I particularly enjoyed A Dog's Dinner, as I thought the story best played out on it's own without requiring a novel's reference. I also really enjoyed all of the characters, and the storyline was unique. True to the author's style, each story carried an unusual aspect of werewolf or kitsune lore. I highly recommend reading this analogy, whether or not you have read her other novels. It is fun, quirky and thoroughly enjoyable!

These well written and humorous short stories involving kitsune and werewolves are so much fun! Aimee Easterling has a knack for immediately drawing you into her world. Her language is vivid and her pacing is good, but my favorite aspect is her characters. Ms. Easterling has a real gift for creating characters who are memorable, quirky, and likeable. The stories are organized by series and the author’s note explains her suggested reading order. Recommended for fans of shifter short stories.

About the author

Aimee Easterling wasn't raised by wolves, but she did spend the first ten years of her life running wild in their habitat. Since then, she's backpacked across three continents, spent over a decade homesteading half a mile from the nearest road, and now unearths excitement amid fictional werewolf packs. Her USA Today bestselling books straddle the line between urban fantasy and paranormal romance because everyone deserves a pack, a mate, and an adventure.
