It reminded me of alot and made me think soo much throughout the book, simple and well written and captures soo much, the kind of lifestyle as a kid my Grandfather talked about and the importance of adventures to a kid on a farm, or my dog, now passed, a young german shepherd's first disastrous clash with water standing fearfull by the edge, but charges strait in when he sees me dive under a wave, not willing to see anything happen to me. Dogs are highly social creatures, just like us and connections matter to them alot.. just like us

What a phenomenal book. I love how it's from the dogs point of view. And thank you for such a exceptional book. may i add pls appreciate animals they are with you through good and bad time and I would know I've got one and it would be heartbreaking to see her go or anyone's pets for that matter all I ask is pls show respect you don't have to like animals but don't be a rotten person. just show love and stop animal cruelty.

Absolutely wonderful. I couldn't stop reading. Beautiful story. After reading some of the reviews I must say that if you are expecting at little too much fact out of a fiction book, then you're not going to enjoy most books. Dogs aren't as complex as this book makes out but that is the point.
