Eric hingegen ist ein stolzer Wolf, mit einer leuchtenden Vorbestimmung. Sein Vater sieht ihn schon als seinen Nachfolger, als Alpha des Waldflussrudels, und an der Seite seines Sohnes eine Wölfin und Welpen.
Aber das Schicksal hat andere Pläne. Denn als der weiße Wolf Eric das schwarze Kätzchen Junis sieht, ... vereint es, was füreinander bestimmt ist, zusammengehört und ein gemeinsames Leben teilen soll. Nur leider scheint ihrer beider Umfeld nicht gänzlich begeistert von dieser schicksalhaften Fügung.
Als dann auch noch Junis' Vergangenheit die beiden einholt, ... muss Eric ihrer beider Leben in die Pfoten nehmen.
