In the novel The God of Small Things, there are three generations of women. Each of them was born and raised under different circumstances. Starting from the oldest generation,there is Mammachi,then the generation of Ammu, and the youngest generation is Rahel.

關於作者

Dr Altaf Ahmad Ganaie is Lecturer in English at Govt. Degree College Pampore affiliated with University of Kashmir. He Specializes in Indian English fiction and has done his research on the fiction of Jhumpa Lahiri and Bharati Mukherjee. He has to his credit many papers published in reputed journals and presented at national and international seminars and conferences.
