Dr. Annie Crawford is hoping for a peaceful summer on an isolated farm in northern Maine. She’s happy to escape her hectic New York life and to spend time getting to know her troubled teenage child. But the two are not alone for long.

Nadia went to the dogs at the age of 29 and currently races and trains a kennel of 28 Alaskan Huskies. She works at the family-owned Harraseeket Inn in Freeport, and is a registered Maine master guide. She lives on a remote, off-grid northern Maine homestead. [e-mail].
