Maybe it's me, but I really liked how this book showed how Idealism can be difficult in everyday life. It's easy to get in your own way; easy to ignore the signs when logic tries to take control. On the other side of the coin, if you hold onto your ideals and never stop fighting for the life you believe you deserve, you will find it. Maybe not necessarily the way you thought you would or when you thought you should but you will find it.
