About this eBook

If you are trying to heal yourself, remember, it was not your fault.

Some of the poems in this collection are quite raw, but I make no apologies for that.

I don't believe in dressing my words up in a fancy bow.

This collection was written as part of my healing journey.

About the author

Maggie was born in Cape Town, South Africa.

She now lives in a quiet seaside town outside of Edinburgh.

She has CFS which is a very debilitating/unpredictable illness.

She began writing in 2020 at the start of the Pandemic.

At that point, she had no idea it would play such a huge part in her life as it does now!

In 2021 she self-published her first collection of poetry and has since self-published three others.

Her writing is now much more diverse than when she began.

Maggie draws a lot on her life experiences when writing, so at times her poems are raw.

But she feels that makes her work more relatable to the reader.

This year her work has been included in an Open Skies Collection, Gypsophila and Glass Gates Publications.

For more examples of her writing you can visit her Facebook, Instagram Page or You tube Channel.

She is also now on Spotify.
