Eve and Nick may not be perfect, but they are perfect for each other. She needs someone to believe in her and encourage her to believe in herself. He needs to forgive himself past mistakes and work his way through his truckload of heartaches. Ms. Stanley is a miracle worker. Nick and Eve are frustrating, heartbreaking and captivating. Perfection is a state of mind that may begin with the best of intentions, yet turn out anything but. With a Taste of You, Terri Anne Stanley shows readers there is beauty in being flawed. There's no more powerful message than that.

I loved this book! Eve's family owns a distillery that is preparing to launch their tasting and visitor center when her contractor disappears. Unable to reach him, she goes to his house and finds his son, Nick. Nick agrees to help with the work his dad left undone, but wasn't prepared for his attraction to Eve. Both Eve and Nick come from similar backgrounds, both bad, and aren't sure what to do with each other. Add in Nick's believe that he's unworthy and you have all the makings for a great novel I loved the characters and felt invested in their story. I wanted them to find a way to overcome their backgrounds and find their HEA. This is a wonderful series and fans of the genre will love it. I've added the author to my must read authors' list.

Excellent read! It's fun, flirty, and entertaining. Through the humor you can really feel the depth of these characters and how far they've come. It's very well written and has a great story at the core. Eve McGrath works with her mother organizing all the charitable activities her family is involved with. They are currently working on tasting event to be held at the family distillery. So when it looks like the carpenter she hired to finish the new tasting center as skipped out on her she goes tracking him down. That's when she meets Nick Baker. He's the carpenters son and the one she has to convince to finish the job when she discovers his father has messed up his leg. Luckily he finds her irresistible and ok he may owe her a pile of reclaimed wood for the new bar. But working at a distillery? Nope not a good idea. Maybe he can just stick around long enough to get her wood for her then turn everything over to his father again. A great quick read and one I recommend to everyone.

About the author

Teri Anne Stanley began her writing career with scientific articles—followed by a three-ingredient recipe column, but wasn't allowed to write sex scenes for them—so now she writes fun, sexy romance filled love, angst and nekkid parts. She's also worked as a fashion designer for female body builders and a sex therapist for rats. In her spare time, she is a neuroscience research assistant. Along with a variety of teenagers and dogs, she and Mr. Stanley live just outside of Sugartit, which is—honest to God—between Beaverlick, and Rabbit Hash, Kentucky.
