Kurtis Scaletta is the author of several well-received middle grade novels, including the baseball-centric story Mudville, one of Booklist’s 2009 Top 10 Sports Books for Youth. He lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Artist Ethen Beavers has worked on comics editions of the Justice League, Indiana Jones, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Star Wars. He also illustrates the popular bestselling NERDS series. He lives in Modesto, California.
