"Amuktamalyada Srikrishnadevaraya" (Hindi Language) - The Vijayanagar emperor Krishnadevaraya's epic poem Amuktamalyada (one who wears and gives away the garland) is a masterpiece and it is one of the Panchkavyas of Telugu literatures. It is a well-known story of the daughter of Vishnuchitta (Periazhvar), Goda Devi i.e. a medieval Vaishnava poet-saint Andal who is known for her pure love and devotion to Lord Vishnu. Krishnadevaraya in the preface of this epic specifically mentions that he had taken up this work only because Lord Vishnu appeared in his dream and instructed him to write the Lord Vishnu's story about his wedding to Andal at Srirangam in Telugu. Amuktamalyada describes Andal's intense longing for Vishnu and finally her wedding with Hindu Lord Vishnu at Srirangam. The work also portrays the character of Vishnuchitta (Periazhvar) and his arguments in a debate in support of Vishisht-advaita as against the other schools of philosophy. Hence, it is also known as ' Vishnuchitteeyamu.' The Author has included several episodes like the story of Yamanucharya, the legend of Keshadhwaja and Khandikya and the story of a demon in arguments with an untouchable Dasari. These episodes are relevant in the context of the propagation of the Vaishnava theology, although not directly connected with the main story. This epic has been translated in English by many renowned authors. Last year in 2016, this book has been translated in Marathi by Mr. Vyankatesh Devanpalli. Now he has come out with Hindi Translation.
