Raven Blackstone is back also, to settle the estate of her father, not expecting to see Dylan, the boy she still loves. But it’s never just as simple as star-crossed lovers. With Home Base, Abbie Zanders has written a fabulous story that has mystery, family drama, old friends we’ve seen before, and a wonderful HEA!

Dylan and Raven are a sweet second chance story full of emotions and mysteries and heartbreak. One of my favorite lines comes from near the end of the book. Dylan is trying to show with his actions and his words that Raven is a priority for him. He tells her she was his first and she asks why, when he had so many girls in his orbit as a teenager and his response is absolutely swoon worthy, "Because I could say no to everyone else, but not to you.
