About this ebook

Paradise in Aruba quickly gets gruesome in this “ripped-from-the-headlines thriller (Kirkus Reviews)” with a twist that defies the imagination.

It’s Spring Break of senior year. Anna, her boyfriend Tate, her best friend Elise, and a few other close friends are off to a debaucherous trip to Aruba that promises to be the time of their lives.

But when Elise is found brutally murdered, Anna finds herself trapped in a country not her own, fighting against vile and contemptuous accusations. As Anna sets out to find her friend’s killer, she discovers harsh revelations about her friendships, the slippery nature of truth, and the ache of young love.

Awaiting the judge’s decree, it becomes clear to Anna that everyone around her thinks she is not only guilty, but also dangerous. And when the whole story comes out, reality is more shocking than anyone could ever imagine...

For every one who loved it, no. It is not as good as it seems to be. I was so looking forward to more thrills and ups and downs. But all we could think of was she isn't guilty and all of a sudden, Tate was with Elise. This is a dissapointment, I'm afraid. Very bad. Not quite readable.

I don't know. Yeah, it's page turner. But the twist doesn't got me that mindblowing effects. Maybe the ending is something you've collected from the middle. Maybe if it wasn't mentioned earlier to the passage, it might become more effective. But yeah, it's a nice one, but not really for the twist.

Honestly, this book was so well written. It felt like I was watching a movie with its vivid imagery and descriptions of the characters. Best thing I've read in awhile.
