A new piece of information creates tension and distrust in the house, even with the stoic Dracus. It is nice to see a softer side of the dragon but it comes at quite a cost. Fiona is maturing - learning and facing repercussions when her curiosity gets the better of her, but she is maturing. She's also coming into her own and learning more about herself. With all the tension between the boys and one feeling like the odd man out, it's looking like Fiona may be the glue that holds everyone together.

This is a good series and Fiona is getting stronger. They are still dealing with trouble and things happening. The stories are still really short and could use more detail. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
