About the author
Adolf Neubauer (1832-1907) was a Sub-librarian at the Bodleian Library, Oxford University. Among his other publications are 'The Fifty-third Chapter of Isaiah according to the Jewish Interpreters,' 'Mediaeval Jewish Chronicles and Chronological Notes,' 'La Geographie du Talmud,' and 'Catalogue of the Hebrew Manuscripts in the Bodleian Library and in the College Libraries of Oxford.'
