Advent: A Calendar of Daily Devotions provides daily devotions for Christians as they prepare to celebrate the birth of Christ. This annual favorite is a wonderful resource for churches to give to each family to emphasize the importance of the Advent of our Lord. Each day's reading, from Sunday November 27 to Christmas Day, is based on the Revised Common Lectionary and includes the Scripture, a short devotion, and a brief prayer and it's printed with a larger font for ease of reading.
About the author
Rev. Anna Guillozet is an ordained elder serving in the West Ohio Conference. She has served as the Senior Pastor at Linworth United Methodist Church since 2019. She is a graduate of Ohio Northern University and holds an M.Div. from the Methodist Theological School in Ohio (MTSO). She is also completing her D.Min. at MTSO. She was a key video contributor to the Saving Grace financial wellness program. Anna is married to Garrett, with whom she shares the ups and downs of parenting a strong-willed, 7-year-old daughter. The 3 Guillozets share their home with Mildred the cat, a product of the pandemic. In her down time, you'll find her reading the latest selection for her book club, training for her next powerlifting meet, or out for a run. Anna feels passionately about building relationships and communities that are focused on the life-changing, inclusive love of Jesus.
