Wily heroine! She is much as you would expect of a young Kitsune. She does rely a lot on others to get her out of trouble but she is young & learns from each experience. Lots of action and shifting fun! Check out the audiobook, too! Great narrator that really brings Kira to life!

If you like stories about shifters, you'll enjoy this novel. We have visited this world before, but this time the main character is Mai's little sister Kira. Kira is all grown up and in law enforcement, but it's not going as well as she thought it was. With some new friends and a few new one, Kira forges on in a world of magic and sword fighting. To form a new series that is suspenseful and fast moving. Looking forward to see if book 2 is as entertaining as book one was.

Full Moon Saloon, the first installment in Aimee Easterling's Kira Fairwood Series, starts off with a bang and keeps on rolling. Full of action, it will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. The storyline is fast-paced and well written, filled with magic and mayhem, intrigue, subterfuge, pack politics, danger and light romance. The characters are well developed and engaging. Thom was interesting as an untrained alpha. It was great watching him learn more about his alpha status, and the power that it entails. Overall, a very enjoyable read. I am looking forward to more of Kira's story.
