Beautiful book for a beginner, although the commentary for some verses could have been more elaborate. For example, the 5 elements of cause and effect: Place/Doer/Instrument/Energy/Divine Providence. Such verses need indepth interpretation. Apart from that, a really well written book!

An excellent book and a delightful reading. One can understand the ancient message of "Word of God " to the entire humanity, in an easy-to-read manner with interesting stories with quotes from the Bible and Upanishads. The book integrates all religions and explains the concept of one Spirit of God for the entire humanity, irrespective of one's caste, religion or creed. A must read for both young and old to take your Spirit to the heavenly regions of Spirituality, irrespective of the religion followed by the individual.

About the author

Commander Ajay Gupta joined the Indian Navy upon completion of an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Delhi College of Engineering in the year 1973. During his stint in the Indian Navy for thirty years, he served on-board different Indian Naval Ships, different Naval Aircraft Squadrons and different organizations such as DRDO Research Organization and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd for a Helicopter project and the Indian Nuclear Submarine Project. He is presently residing in Gurgaon, Delhi NCR, after retirement. In his spare time, he did extensive research and study of the Bhagavad Gita, Bible, Upanishads and other spiritual texts. In his younger days, he attended various Gita Jnana camps from time to time. He developed a keen interest in the Bhagavad Gita for its lofty teaching. Over the past years, he has been translating the main Sanskrit verses of Gita into simple English for clarity and presentation of the text in a simple manner. The author believes that the essence of all religions is essentially the same, and all religions say that there is only one God who governs the entire Universe. It is human beings who have created different beliefs and divided the humanity into different sects, creeds and dogmas. With this book, the author has fulfilled his destiny to present the Bhagavad Gita, the divine song, in a very simple and interesting way. Understanding the difficult text of Gita in a systematic way is now within the reach of everyone, whether young or old. This book is dedicated to the glory of God for His guidance and inspiration, which led to the writing of this book.
