LISA LINDQUIST DORR is an associate professor of history and the associate dean for social sciences at the University of Alabama. She is the author of White Women, Rape, and the Power of Race in Virginia, 1900–1960.

Susan Youngblood Ashmore (Editor)
SUSAN YOUNGBLOOD ASHMORE is a professor of history at Oxford College of Emory University. She is the author of Carry It On: The War on Poverty and the Civil Rights Movement in Alabama, 1964-1972.
