Cover photo is actually the US Army 23rd Infantry Regiment, Headquarters Machine Gun Company, 2nd Infantry Division at Belleau Wood. Photo is on file as such in the national archives. Seems to be misrepresenting from the start, so I'm skeptical about the accuracy within this book.
