About this ebook

I didn’t want to recognize or experience the realities normally left to the boundaries of the unknown, but at an early age, I was initiated. Forced at first ... to participate and later guided on a life long journey into the world of the supernatural. Venture into my world … chronicled with frightening and surreal true-life adventures that stretch out over the first half of a lifetime. A roller coaster ride that moves across continents and back again. A parade of life lessons stamped out on a stage filled with clairvoyants, psychic realization, past life regression, mediums, the tarot, demonic forces and premonitions. All of it coming to fruition as I move up the ladder in the London art scene. If I can help, other unknowing individuals manage the minefield of this strange and intriguing world thru my experiences, then my job is done. You may not believe in this world, but it believes in you. Reality is stranger than your imagination.

This book is a double-edged sword. On one hand, it covers a lifetime of fantastic experiences. Scary, dark and troubling days, and on the other side there is an undeniable metamorphosis taking place. An astounding personal continuum of growth evolves against spell binding odds. I have witnessed great joy and great pain and come out the other side whole. Duality is a common perpetual proclivity that was skillfully integrated into this book and many parts of my existence before I was born. The universe is all about timing. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that both my raising sign and moon are squarely placed in Gemini. Good and evil, positive and negative, Ying and Yang ... cause and effect, it’s the stuff of life. It must be there for us to transmute and transcend. Without fraction and polarity there can be no growth, no action, and no stage. We have inherited a world of suffering that must be transcended through the development of pointed direction, fostering evolution to a higher level of consciousness. Some might call this spiritual state inner harmony, but then once achieved that inner harmony of self, may very well become the discordant vibration in the room, and in a world of chaos and imbalance those in harmony are sometimes looked upon, as dissidents. That’s what I want people to walk away from when they read this book. We are so much more then religions and governments or social orders say we are. We are divine, unique creatures and the universe is a menagerie. Fraught with joy and danger, and that is life! Nothing is black or white that is the grand illusion. From my prospective, everything happens in the ubiquitous fields of fluctuating shades of gray. The structure of this book and its contents are unorthodox, as it does not conform to a standard chapter and section format. Instead, the book discusses or identifies a specific supernatural or spiritual issue first, followed by a story describing one of my personal experiences with that specific supernatural or metaphysical issue.

Each chapter is written so vividly that you feel like you’re a character in the book, as an innocent bystander, watching each story graphically unfold. You not only see, but you feel this book, as Albert endures great pain as well as great triumphs. Your heart breaks many times throughout this captivating book, but you also celebrate with the author as he becomes more in tune with his spirituality and metaphysical gifts.

About the author

Albert Jackson, gifted psychic and clairvoyant who possesses the ability to read and interpret the Tarot and other forms of divination. He combines multiple disciplines of spiritual study into his work with clients. An individual’s aura energy, numerology, palmistry and use of crystals and astrology are all integrated into his reading, as information and messages are channelled through his consciousness or a Tarot deck. Albert has been a long time student devoted to the study of multiple meditative disciplines. He began with transcendental meditation at the age of nine and studied every religion and spiritual system he could find. He also incorporates the use of other energy systems. In addition, Albert holds the title of third degree Reiki master.

Albert has worked as a reader for more than 17 years; he has worked with some of the most dynamic psychic networks in the United States and Europe. He made regular appearances on the late night national, Sadie Nine show on BBC Radio London 94.9FM. His live spiritual on the air readings became a very popular and highly rated segment of her show.

Albert believes we are all connected to a spiritual world of endless possibilities and knowledge is our key to personal growth. “Let God and peace be with you. I believe I’m here to help people. To offer clarity, insight, hope, knowledge and honesty where I can.  I am devoted to two things in my life, the spiritual world and my creative life as a painter, sculptor and a writer.”

Albert Jackson is a multidimensional artist, fluent in a wide variety of mediums, who produces paintings and sculptures influenced by Greek and Native American Mythology, ancient Astrology and Jungian Psychology. His entirely original and unique art has earned him recognition and appeal in the United States, having had exhibitions in Los Angeles, and New York. Albert started his career with an exhibition at the New York International Film Festival.

Albert Jackson’s art cuts across boundaries to appeal to the universal human spirit – yet each viewer can delight in finding their own personal truth and emotional meaning in his works. His paintings explore the form and function of abstractions that exalt the essence of passion, as well as punctuating the vivid manifestations of colour, which define and drive the emotional integrity of his images on canvas.

“My work speaks to both literal and abstract points of view,” Jackson said. “I try to create an atmosphere which transcends the ordinary and finds meaning through inspiration.”

Albert Jackson’s first show in the UK was held in Birmingham, and was highly acclaimed by critics and art buyers alike, thus attracting dignitaries such as Peter Hain,  former Leader of the House of Commons, and interviews on BBC national radio and television.

‘’One of the most innovative contemporary sculptors and painters of his time,’’ wrote the Evening Mail, London.

“Despite appearances this is not a group show but the electric output of one artist – Albert Jackson,” wrote Emma Safe - Metro Magazine, London.

A few years later Albert Jackson was commissioned by Barclay’s Bank London, to create nine unique sculptures, which were later sold at a gala charity auction. Celebrities such as Sara Cox, Zoe Ball, Kate Moss and others kindly contributed ‘personal items’ which were incorporated into the work to accent each piece.

Each of his pieces starts as a fully formed vision in his mind, before he begins his work. Then he welds, hammers, forges, and torch-carves raw materials such as steel, iron, copper, and wood into fully-formed, passion-driven, functional artworks: A chair with the wings of a butterfly. A glass table with the colors of fall leaves beneath its surface. His art is a visionary one, that strives to liberate the human spirit: A steel sculpture of a woman who gleams with fierce independence and eroticism. The painted, supple curves of a calla lily flower seeking its blessings of water and light. Albert Jackson produces sculptures and paintings with an immediate impact and a lasting poetic resonance. His artwork is steeped in meanings as diverse as Greek and Native American mythology. Albert Jackson's art cuts across boundaries to appeal to the universal human spirit – yet each viewer can delight in finding their own personal truth and emotional meaning in his works.

Albert Jackson was born in Heidelberg, Germany, just a few yards away from the main gate to Heidelberg Castle. His father was in the military and, as a result, Albert's early childhood was spent on the move, criss-crossing numerous localities in the United States. His formative years were spent with his family in Colorado. Albert attended, the University of Colorado in Boulder, for a short time. Some of Albert Jackson’s celebrity clients include The Supremes, and Tom Cruise. He currently resides in Seattle.
