Ratings and reviews

This book picks up immediately where the last book ended, and I would suspect the final book will do the same. That is the thing with a good cliffhanger, you need it to start right back up again! We get more into 'couple-dom' in this book, but it is far from traditional. There is so much going on, sometimes your head feels like it is spinning, but there is some important insight in a couple of spots that bring it all together. No answers mind you, just more questions. The story isn't in the finding the answers, but the path taken to find the questions that need answers!

I must say that Aleatha has knocked it out of the park with this one. I found Lies, #2, a little more enjoyable than the last as the mystery has been kicked up a notch. I found myself trying to find every little second I had reading this book so I could find out more. Aleatha Romig keeps up with the plot of the story with more intense emotions between the main characters with more of her signature steamy scenes. Sterling Sparrow is the quintessential alpha male in the last book and most definitely in this book as well. Aleatha Romig has me hooked and reeled in. I can't wait to read Promises, #3. Ugh, is it January yet?

This series has become my new obsess obsession! I loved all the twists and turns in this book! Lies picks up where secrets left off without skipping a beat. I love the look the look in to Annabelle's past. If you haven't started it yet do yourself a favor and pick up the series! You won't regret it!
