About this ebook

Three full-length Amazon bestselling fantasy novels in one collection: The Tower’s Alchemist (now being adapted to screenplay), Dark Rift, and Circadian Circle.

Be a spy. Save the world.

If only it were that simple.

The Nazis have unleashed occult forces throughout Europe, and the Allies are forced to recruit wizards to help them fight in the streets of Europe and in the shadows.

Among them is the battle weary spy, Isabella George, a Gray Tower dropout trained in Alchemy. Longing for retirement and a life of peace, she accepts one final job-extract a deadly warlock from Nazi occupied France and prevent him from unleashing an alchemical weapon that will devour the continent.

But France is crawling with the Cruenti, vampiric warlocks who feed off other wizards. When things don’t go according to plan, one Cruenti sets his deadly eyes on her.

Plans within plans. Plots versus counter-plots. Heists gone wrong, Vatican wizards, and the greatest manipulation of history that has ever been seen, is just a taste of what Isabella George is in for, in this action-packed supernatural spy thriller.

My app shows this trilogy as 930 pages. This first book was a solid 4 stars. It wasn't going to be the great american novel but it was a solid read with an interesting premise and an engaging heroine. Around page 550 is when things start to break down. At that point I started to think the heroine just has a death wish. She repeatedly walks into questionable situations without sufficient backup. But it's a spy novel and some spies are adrenaline junkies so, okay. I am now on page 800 and our character has grown less competent as the trilogy goes on. She is supposed to be a seasoned spy at this point but she fails to control herself, fails to focus on the essentials and seems to become more juvenile as time goes on. In book one our heroine was far more capable. By book three there is sniveling. Also, the author really needs to read a few romances and come up with some better descriptions of kissing. I give this 3 stars based on the strength of the first book. Book 3 is a 2 star book that I'm not sure I will finish.
