Atti del Convegno sul bucchero tenutosi presso il Centro di archeologia sperimentale Antiquitates (Civitella Cesi) il 6.11.1999 e il 15.10.2000. Gli interventi, in linea con la tenedenza generale degli studi specialistici sul bucchero, si concentrano sulla individuazione delle produzioni locali e delle loro specificità, e sull’interesse per la tecnologia antica capace di produrre il colore nero in superficie e all’interno. Accanto agli studi sulla tecnica di preparazione della ceramica nazionale degli Etruschi, si affronta il tema della sua diffusione al di fuori dell’Etruria (bucchero campano) ma anche della penisola italica (valle del Rodano, Linguadoca, Spagna).
