About this ebook

Risking it all...

Thanks to my violent ex, I haven’t felt safe enough to date in six years. When I volunteer at a soccer camp with Matteo Cruz, star and international sex symbol, I can’t deny my attraction. Teo is driven, patient, kind—and his butt is on seventy-foot billboards. Maybe I can risk trusting again, if only for one night…

Don’t miss the chance to lose your heart to Preslee and Teo in this steamy saga of overcoming adversity and love from a USA Today bestselling author.

When Teo first sees Preslee, he is immediately attracted to her. However, his future in football is in jeopardy and with his messed up family and past history, he is not prepared to act on his feelings in case it messes up his plans. Preslee’s ambitions have been cut short as a result of a cruel assault and she is wary of men in general. Nevertheless, she feels safe with Teo, leading her to make choices that are outside of her comfort zone. This stunning romance with characters from previous books in the series is a standalone, and is as suspenseful and enjoyable as the rest of the books in the Seattle Sound Series. The story built from the opening chapters, and there was a cloud of suspense hanging over the characters, drawing the reader into the plot that was being generated against the main characters. When the threat is exposed and the truth revealed, both Teo and Preslee are horrified at the betrayal. I loved the main characters as well as Preslee’s family members who were willing to stand with her against the threats. The attraction between Teo and Preslee was dynamic and this book came to a very satisfactory conclusion. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
