About this eBook

USA Today bestseller Caitlin Crews returns with All Night Long with a Cowboy," another emotional romance in her stunning cowboy series Kittredge Ranch.

If you play with fire...

One of the most notorious cowboys in Cold River, Jensen Kittredge always has willing women with sweet smiles vying for a place in his bed. So when the prissy high school librarian sidles up to him in the most disreputable bar in town with a scowl on her face, he has no idea what to make of it. Much less the attraction he feels toward the bespectacled creature who wants something from him... but not that. Yet.

Someone gets burned...

Harriett Barnett doesn’t care for dens of iniquity— or the insolent cowboy she certainly shouldn’t find attractive. But one of her students needs her help, and if she needs to corral the infamous Jensen to save him, she will. Trouble is, the town’s favorite Kittredge brother is a lot more than she bargained for. Harriett's happy little life is orderly and neat, just how she likes it—until Jensen blows it all apart with his particular brand of addictive passion. Can a modern-day schoolmarm really tame the wildest cowboy in town? Or is Harriet headed for a terrible fall?

Emotionally powerful romance! The one thing this author absolutely excels at is writing a distinctive voice for each character. Jensen and Harriet are each vibrant, complex people with more depth than their outer personas would suggest. The author's incisive presentation of the events is brilliantly framed to let us feel exactly what the characters are feeling. What results is a witty, insightful emotional adventure that is every bit as fun as reading a romance should be. Jensen is the town playboy, a somewhat inappropriate reputation that he refuses to refute. Harriet is the quirky high school librarian who effortlessly wears her DGAF attitude even as she's still trying to find her niche in the multi-generational, historic community. These two seem to be opposites right from the start, and to a great extent they are, but the beauty of their romance is how they discover all the ways in which neither is what the other originally thought. And the author really understands the heart of a book addict, as exemplified in this line: "Harriet firmly believed that the only life worth living was one in which a woman could never possibly read all the books she wanted to." If you love cowboys or small town romances, you don't want to miss this one. Even if it takes you All Night Long, you'll want to read and savor this delicious story again and again. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

WOW!!! I LOVED reading about Jensen and Harriet in All Night Long with a Cowboy by Caitlin Crew, book two in her Kittredge Ranch series. I could not put down this emotionally charged love story filled with an opposite attracts theme, a rollercoaster of emotion and two people who see inside each other, understanding the real person they are rather than their public persona. This story deals with Harriet, a somewhat rigid and proper school librarian who matches wits with Jensen, a charming, easygoing, playboy cowboy. Their first meeting was far from romantic, Harriet approaching Jensen for help with a student; ignorant of forcing him out of his comfort zone. I loved that Harriet didn’t magically changed her appearance before Jensen noticed her as attractive or as a romantic possibility; that he accepted her as she was, ugly dresses and all. I loved that Harriet was hardheaded and had definite reasons for being who she was. Jensen was intrigued and genuinely attracted to her, overlooking her lack of concern to clothing, hairstyle, as well as her other quirks. Jensen and Harriet had a magnetic connection, with off the charts chemistry as Jensen introduced Harriet the virgin to the joys of love-making. As these two spend time building a sweet relationship, we learn how some heartbreaking events from Jensen's past have affected him along with some from Harriet’s. I loved how strong and independent Harriet was and how determined she was to be herself; not changing because someone thought she should. The way she poured her love and acceptance onto Jensen was healing. Ms. Crew wrote a wonderfully emotional story that is not to be missed. She provided a tale rich with sizzling chemistry, strong friends, and charming characters that allows for acceptance and a chance at a future together for Jensen and Harriet. I highly recommend All Night Long with a Cowboy to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Jensen has crafted a persona of the easy going, not so smart Kittredge and he’s comfortable living with this persona. For him, he carries guilt for the loss of his friend so he doesn’t believe he deserves true happiness. What he never expects is Harriet, the new school librarian, to shake his world and push him to reevaluate what he truly wants. Harriet is passionate about reading and learning which inspired her to start a summer school program to try to help students on the verge of failing which brings introduces her to Aidan. Aidan carries the sins of his family name with him every day but he is a boy that wants someone to believe in him and to find a way to change the path everyone in Cold River has him on. This inspires Harriet to seek out Jensen to help Aidan realize that he does have options. Jensen is shocked and curious by Harriet’s request but what really surprises him is how much he wants to get to know Harriet. He doesn’t do repeats so this is foreign territory for him. Harriet sees herself as odd, never knowing the right thing to say in social situations so she chooses to lead a solitary life with her books and cats but Jensen gets her out of her comfort zone. I enjoyed Harriet and all her quirks. She is upfront, honest and unapologetic about how she acts which is refreshing. Jensen is really tested by her so the real issue is can he forgive himself to allow happiness in his life or will he walk away from that opportunity with Harriet.
