All the Singing Birds is the experience of love, loss, violence and enamoured thoughts articulated in the form of poetry. Expressed in a series of reflections of our metamodernist society, the poems trace our relationship with the world and the luminous intensity we share with creatures around us in a blatantly self-satirical fashion. Raw and laden with musings of a strange wandering, it rationalizes our perception of the world, revealing another side to human nature without losing sight of the enigma. The idea for this book was jerked in to motion to nourish our own cataclysmic and narcissistic nature with a faint hope that we would observe the blemishes of the human mind in its most unflattering moments. After all, in the grand scheme of things, what is it all worth if we don’t even realize that we are the butt of all jokes? Pragadish works for a search firm in Bangalore as a Communications Specialist. A voracious reader and a passionate movie buff with a penchant for adventure eating; he is also secretly an avid collector of random facts about everything (he doesn’t discriminate). He enjoys good music and old British sitcoms. Never ending patience and the ability to capture anything into photographs and literary works are Pragadish’s particular talents. And he’s been honing these skills for the past five years, since his first book truly bombed after its launch. He’s passionate about socio-political issues and has no time for those who place faith over reason. He wouldn’t hesitate to give a bunch of terrorists a moral lesson; but you couldn’t get him within five feet of a roller coaster. His future plans involve world domination and he constantly reads up on past dictators for inspiration.
