About the author

Chukwuemeka "Chuks" Nwuba is a London-based medical doctor, with a particular interest in eating disorders. He is co-founder and COO of Club Majority, an organisation driving for improved treatment for underrepresented people with eating disorders and disordered eating. He is also co-founder of ed/md, the world's first eating disorders conference for medical students. In 2018, he was voted on the list of Powerful Media's Top 10 Black Future Leaders.
