Tatum’s treatment at the hands of people who were supposed to love her absolutely broke my heart. She should have been receiving their love and support, but instead that wasn’t even close to what she got. Thank heavens for Bran, who was exactly the kind of protective, nurturing alpha hero that makes my knees weak. I loved the way he gave her the permission to heal, that her family really hadn’t.

This story is immersive and emotional, with likeable characters and a plot that never lags. Tatum and Bran gave me so many feels. My heart ached for Tatum, and I thought Bran was sinfully swoon worthy. Lots of emotion, steam, twists and drama mean that you won't want to put this one down once you start, so plan ahead.
