Brown is the author of The Woman Who Was Chesterton, a biography of Frances Chesterton, wife of British Journalist G.K. Chesterton

Donald W. Catchings, Jr. is Founder and Board Chair of Street Light Inc. and Pastor of The True Light Church in Conroe, Texas since 2009. Donald graduated from Liberty University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Biblical and Educational Studies. He is currently enrolled in Houston Baptist University’s Apologetics program. As a writer, Donald regularly contributes to ‘An Unexpected Journal.’ Also, Donald will be releasing a book of poetry and reflection on The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in Spring 2020 through Wipf and Stock.

Mark D. Linville holds a PhD in philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is Senior Research Fellow and Philosophy Fellow for the PhD Program in the Humanities at Faulkner University.

Seth Myers completed his MA in Cultural Apologetics from Houston Baptist University in 2017. As a power systems engineer, he has been involved with transformer diagnostics and rural electrification projects by partnering with NGOs in West Africa. A volunteer with international students through local churches, he enjoys conversations with friends from all cultures. He considers himself rich in friendships across time and space, including but not limited to C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Bede the Venerable, Augustine, Ravi Zacharias & friends, and many student friends (chess-playing when possible, but not required) typically from throughout Asia. He has recently begun taking online courses in Faulkner University’s Doctor of Humanities program.

A native of England, Joseph Pearce is Director of Book Publishing at the Augustine Institute, and editor of the St. Austin Review (www.staustinreview.org), editor of Faith & Culture (www.faithandculture.com), series editor of the Ignatius Critical Editions (www.ignatiuscriticaleditions.com), senior instructor with Homeschool Connections (www.homeschoolconnectionsonline.com), and senior contributor at the Imaginative Conservative. Zak Schmoll is the founder of Entering the Public Square (www.enteringthepublicsquare.com), a blog founded on the sincere belief that every Christian should understand the importance of discussing Christianity in the marketplace of ideas. He earned his MA in Apologetics at Houston Baptist University and is currently a PhD student in Humanities at Faulkner University. His work has been featured on several websites including The Federalist, the Public Discourse and the Fourth World Journal.

Melissa serves as an Assistant Professor of Christian Apologetics at Houston Baptist University, where she teaches courses in philosophical apologetics and the intersection of science and Christianity. She is the author of Science and the Mind of the Maker: What the Conversation Between Faith and Science Reveals About God and is on the Contributing Writers team for Christian Research Journal. She holds a PhD in Humanities with a philosophy concentration and a master's in Science and Religion. Her research interests include Johannes Kepler, the history of scientific thought, and philosophy of mind.

Rebekah Valerius holds a M.A. in Cultural Apologetics from Houston Baptist University and is part of the Mama Bear Apologetics Ministry team (www.mamabearapologetics.com). She is a wife and homeschooling mother of two. You can see more of her writing at www.alongthebeam.com.

Michael Ward is Professor of Apologetics at Houston Baptist University and Senior Research Fellow at Blackfriars Hall, University of Oxford. He is the author of Planet Narnia: The Seven Heavens in the Imagination of C.S. Lewis (Oxford University Press) and co-editor of The Cambridge Companion to C.S. Lewis (Cambridge University Press). From 2015-2020 he was the Chairman of the Trustees of the G.K. Chesterton Library, Oxford, a world-class collection of Chestertoniana, which is now located at the London campus of the University of Notre Dame.

Clark Weidner is the founder of Solid Faith: A Podcast, blog, vlog, and Christian apologetics website. He is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Cultural Apologetics from Houston Baptist University. He holds a blue belt in jiu jitsu and plenty of scars from years of skateboarding. He met his wife Amber in a Lord of the Rings book club and now they have a dog named Thanos (due to their love of comics).

Shawn White has an M.A. in Christian Apologetics from Biola University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Faulkner University studying Philosophy of Humanities. His academic interests include G.K. Chesterton and Chesterton’s writings on gratitude, wonder, and humility. His non-academic interests include having a wife, having a dog, and playing board games.

Virginia de la Lastra is a physician, illustrator, and apologist. In 2015, while studying a Master’s degree in Apologetics at HBU, she discovered a love for drawing and has been doing it ever since. She has illustrated several books, and she regularly illustrates for The Society of Gilbert Keith Chesterton, An Unexpected Journal, Teen STAR, and of course, for her medical students, nieces, nephews and little neighbors.
