About this ebook

A love-shy billionaire. A damsel-in-distress. Can this temporary marriage work, or will it complicate matters of the heart?

On the run from a human trafficker, Tashi Holland arrives in Granite Falls looking for the one man she was told could protect her. But without knowing his name or his identity, Tashi feels lost, scared, and vulnerable. She has no idea whom to trust, so when she bumps into a man in a café, who pays a little too much attention to her, she panics and runs.

Since he was left standing at the altar, Adam Andreas has been quite content with temporary relationships. That all changes the day he literally bumps into Tashi Holland. With one look into her frightened, emerald eyes, Adam finds himself falling into his old habit of trying to rescue damsels-in-distress—something he has sworn never to do again.

However, one late-night call from Tashi sends Adam rushing to her aid, and little by little, Tashi begins to trust him. But when she discovers that Adam is the man she has been looking for, she fears that he might suffer the same fate as the FBI agent who sent her in search of him.

Will Tashi conquer her fears and trust Adam to protect her, or will she go on the run again in order to protect him?

I have mixed feelings about this book. I enjoyed parts of it, but other parts made me want to pull out my hair. The entire storyline about Tashi being on the run, the mysterious FBI agent, and finding the man in Granite Falls with the name beginning an A, was all entertaining and intriguing. The yoga, being one with the earth, the interesting names for anatomy, not so entertaining. "Jade stalks, celestial terrace, valley of solitude, etc.." . A little bit went a very long way. The amount in this book, almost made me not finish it. As it stands, I ended up skimming through a lot of that. Painful. Although, I suppose that if you have a deep and abiding interest in yoga, it might not be so bad for you. Also, I don't mind the hero having long hair, and I liked Adam. I would have liked it more if I didn't have to hear about his silky, butt skimming, long luxurious hair. Shoulder length is fine. Butt skimming kind of kept taking me out of the moment. Bottom line, yoga stuff, no, not so much. The rest of the book, yes. I also didn't realize I had the book in the Hot and Sensual Billionaires Collection. This one was not my favorite out of the four.

The main ideas are on par with it's predecessors, however this book feels sloppy and rushed. Worth the read to continue the saga of "The Billionaire Brides," but bring your imagination to fill in the critical gaps. There is too much detail in areas and not enough in others, completely unbalanced.
