About the author

Anatoly Volynets is a co-founder of the software consulting company Total Knowledge (California) and NGO Dialogue of Cultures XXI (Ukraine). He is a research fellow at the Ukrainian National Institute of Psychology, a participant in The School of the Dialogue of Cultures project, author of articles on psychology and technology of education. Lives in Palo Alto, California.

In the 1980s Volynets conducted a series of experimental philosophical dialogues in elementary schools. These experiments inspired the dialogues among first graders which comprise the large part of his book Culture vs. Copyright.
