Yu Chun Hua, born in Haiyan County, Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, on April 3, 1966, is a contemporary writer and a member of the Committee of the 

Association.

In 1978, after failing the college entrance examination, he entered the health center as a dental doctor. In 1983, he published his first short story, 

Fatgod. In 1987, he published "Nineteen-year-old Journey", "Forbiddenplay", "1986" and other short stories, which established the status of pioneer writers; 

In the same year, he went to Beijing Lu Xun Academy for further study. In 1990, his first novel, Born Again in Cry, was published. In 1992, he published a 

novel, YuLing. In 1995, the novel "Wang Sledgehammer Blood Record" was published in the "Harvest Spring" magazine. In 1998, he won the Grinzana Carver 

Literature Prize, the highest prize in Italian literature, for his novel YuLing.

In 2003, The English edition of The Book won the Barnes Nobel Prize for New Discoveries. In 2004, he was named Chevalier des Lettres et des Arts. From 2005
