Ruth Owen grew up devouring books, but her favorites always had romance at their heart. After earning a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College, she started work as a computer analyst. Her dream of becoming a romance author came true when Loveswept published her first book, Meltdown, featuring an intelligent, wisecracking computer named Einstein.
