About this ebook

This just in … dating after 40 is not easy.

Online dating after 40 is even harder.

It’s been two years since my husband passed away. Two years since my world was turned upside down.

I’ve tried dating. I’ve tried new hobbies. I’ve even tried yoga. I have failed at them all. That’s why I’m hanging up my dating shoes and focusing on what I really love in life – books, wine, and cupcakes. Life’s too short to not choose the cake.

Then I met Dillon. Sexy and Irish, he sets my pulse racing and my puts a smile on my face.

This may not have been the life I planned, but it’s my life rewritten.

The author knows that heartache and happiness are the recipes to the human life. I can feel both in this book. When I read the heartache part, I felt like turning the pages quickly because I could physically feel the hurt.

About the author

A romantic at heart, Andrea has always been a storyteller. An avid reader since a young age, she never planned to pen her own romance novel but, on a whim, and with no plan, she discovered her passion. Known for her slow burn small town romances, Andrea prides herself on writing relatable characters that the reader cheers for and secondary characters who bring the sass and laughs to each story.

Settled in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and dog, she counts down the days when her adult children come home for a visit. Even if it means more laundry!
