Andrew enjoys directness in his poetry. He believes the general public is often left out from poetry due to an almost pompous attitude towards writing what qualifies as good poetry by other authors. Ease of reading should be important for reaching the average person. He instead relies on heavy emotions and aims to pull at the readers heart strings. While Andrew enjoys writing various poetry forms, he has a deep love for the creativity involved in experimenting with new forms. He also has a strong dislike for formulaic meter.
